How's your driving?

IAM DriveCheck evening

Meeting on 16/08/2010

Talk by an IAM Observer about DriveCheck - August 16th

How’s your driving?

The Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) offers the opportunity for car drivers to improve their driving standards, helping to make them safer on the roads.

But that’s not all. Like any positive learning experience, having your driving checked has many benefits. Being safer is just the start as you'll also gain a greater sense of confidence and driving enjoyment. The IAM is committed to helping make you a better driver.

Underpinning this is the IAM's famous Advanced Driving Test for which the IAM is perhaps best known, but they also offer other driving services such as Special Assessment, or DriveCheck.  Be assured that this is not a test, just an hour’s session with an expert observer who will assess your driving and give you good advice during the drive and a wrap-up session at the end.

Thousands of drivers take their advanced driver programme (Skill for Life) every year. Their feedback is impressive - they find the experience enjoyable, the observing excellent, and often say it was one of the best things they have ever done. Many also go on to receive substantially reduced motor insurance premiums.

The IAM can help improve your technique, increase your ability and confidence, and ultimately get the most out of your driving experience. It will also help improve your safety on the road.

It costs £25 which includes the IAM Associate’s fee which entitles the holder to a range of benefits including discounts on AA breakdown over, windscreen repairs, tyre replacement and car hire.

Come along this evening to meet an IAM Observer and hear all about DriveCheck and how it might help all of us improve our driving…
