The East Sussex Region of the Jaguar Enthusiasts Club AGM was held on Monday 16th November 2015 at The Inn on The Park, Deanland with approximately 40 members and guests present. The meeting was opened at 8:00pm by The Chair, Neville Barker.

After agreeing the minutes from the previous meeting with the members present, Neville then gave a brief review of the activities enjoyed by the Members and their guests during the preceding 12 months. The Treasurer, Roy Jenkins, outlined the financial standing and answered questions raised by Members to their satisfaction.

The existing committee were then invited to stand for the forthcoming year and, with the exception of Fred Bone, who has stepped down, were re-elected unanimously unopposed. Neville took the opportunity to thank Fred for his valued contribution to the Region, both as Representative and committee member, and that of his wife, Judith, who provided excellent minutes for the committee meetings and administrative support. He went on to thank all of the Committee for their hard work, the invaluable support of the Regions Sponsors and the members.Neville commented on the events planned for the year ahead and also advised that the Christmas Dinner had reached 48 guests, which was a record and might even grow slightly more. It was agreed that, if as good as last year, it will be an excellent evening. Roy then advised that he was willing to take any monies still outstanding and, there being no other business, the AGM concluded at 08:30 pm.

Those present then enjoyed a 'noggin and natter' and a fun raffle.Following last years successful Burns Supper the event will be held again on Monday 18th January, Tickets will be £30 per head. Please email eastsussexjec@gmail.comif you would like to attend, details will be sent out shortly."
