Jagtechnic is recognised as a leading provider of Jaguar maintenance and servicing in the southeast. In 2010 the company was chosen by Jaguar to participate in the companies 75 year Anniversary celebrations. Our new facility in Eastbourne was opened on the 17th January 2011 by the renowned Jaguar Test Development Engineer & Works Team Driver Norman Dewis, now in his 90th year. Norman has become a good friend to the team and we look forward to working with him in the future.
In 2011 we were appointed by Jaguar Heritage to carry out an engine rebuild on their 1956 Long Nose D-Type (picured above engine testing). We have since been asked to prepare the car for the 2011 Italian Mille Miglia and support its Driver (Frank Klaas), Jaguar's Global PR Manager on the event in May.

Media Quotes
“Few take the trouble to restore an XJ to a high level,
let alone a Series 2 Daimler. We try an example rebuilt without compromise”
"Entering the reception area is like walking into a world of Jaguar – for visitors there’s a room with tea and coffee as well as a variety of Jaguar-related films set aside. These folk are Jaguar through and through!"
Jaguar World
“I was privileged enough to be working as a Jaguar Heritage spanner hand at the 2009 Mille Miglia alongside chief Jaguar technician John Sawyer”
Sky Motoring
“The 295bhp D-Type is remarkably easy to drive. “It is also very reliable,” John Sawyer, who gave it a total overhaul last winter at the Heritage Trust’s South Coast facility, said. “But looking after a D-Type properly does require a great deal of time and money. I know every nut and bolt of XKD 605 because I took them all off – and put them all back.”
The Times
“Ten minutes later, John Sawyer, our trusty mechanic is on the scene, instantly knows the problem and has the Weber in bits. With a squirt of WD-40 on the sticking valve, we're back in business”
